delivery of the NVQ - National Vocational Qualifications.

Our aim is to allocate a dedicated Assessor to
ensure continuity with each Student.
The NVQ
Process
You may ring
the Quantum Training NVQ Centre or email us and we will respond to
your enquiry within
24 hours (subject to holidays / weekends).
We will then
call you and discuss your training needs.
If you are
then happy with our discussion we then start the induction process which will
take an hour and we will talk about the NVQ route.
At the
induction stage we also make sure that any support you need is identified and
you have equal access to the assessment process e.g. If the English language is not
your strong point then we provide additional visits to support you.
We will also
talk about the funding of the NVQ and how we have access to funding streams to
help you claim back up to 70% of the overall cost.
A lot of the
knowledge questions for the NVQ will have been covered in the 6 Common Induction
Standards.
After the
induction we will then plan our visits which are normally once a month but these
are determined by your commitments both socially and at work.
You will be
allocated an assessor who will have up to date experience who
will assess you in the workplace.
The assessor
will be assessing you against the recognised standards, this evidence can be
gathered through observation / witness / statements / professional
discussion / questions and answers / a reflective account.
There is
not an exam at any stage and we go at your pace.
We regularly
