This International English Language Test (IELTS)
Preparation is
specifically designed for those individuals whose first language is not English
and who wish to further their career in those countries requiring a high
proficiency in English.
Quantum Training Services offers the preparation for the International English Language Test - IELTS
test and the course will assist those individuals to achieve the prescribed
standard for their specific interests and/ or needs.
We would emphasis, based on our experience that
students’ success rates are directly correlated to the degree to which those
students immerse themselves into English language and culture through speaking,
reading, writing and listening to English whenever possible, therefore Quantum
Training Services uses
a style of blended learning to meet the varying needs of
individuals’, comprising of interactive and experiential learning,
one-one tutorials all of which, allow
the students to apply theory to their area practice.

Discussion skills.
Developing fluency.

Using tones effectively.
Listening
Listening and identifying the essence.
Listening for detail.
Interpreting tone patterns.
Note-taking.
Reading
Increasing reading speed.
Practicing skimming and scanning reading.
Developing vocabulary deduction skills.
Identifying opinions in a text.
Writing
Essay writing skills.
Expanding range of vocabulary and phrases.
Using graphs and diagrams to support ideas.
Building complex sentences.
Study Skills
Analysis of strength and weakness.
Developing study skills.
Practice tests for IELTS in exam conditions.
Venue
Generally courses will be conducted at the Quantum
Training Services training centre in
Derby
, however depending on student demand in terms of numbers training maybe
undertaken in regional venues.
Sessions
are delivered two days a week using a variety of learning and teaching methods.
Students will have access to relevant resources and one to one tutorial support.
