This
is the ideal package for senior staff in residential care / nursing homes and
those providing care in the community who may be called upon to deliver first
aid training to employees. Training provides the skills necessary to run first
aid appointed persons training.
On
completion of the course, candidates will be able to:
Recognise
the best form of first aid training communication.
Detail
the administrative components of the first aid course delivery.
Apply
theories of group dynamics to first aid training delivery.
Identify
methods of self-support whilst first aid training as well as identifying areas
for development.
Relate
anti-discriminatory practice to first aid training delivery.
Deliver
relevant first aid training events responding to needs in their workplace.
Our
tutors will take participants through the training package stage by stage,
answering any questions they may have at the end of each section. HSS Health
& Safety Trainers Package handouts can be photocopied to provide your own
staff with their course material.
NOTE:
Participants
on this training course must hold a current recognised First Aid Certificate and must ensure their certificate is current when they deliver HSS
First Aid (Appointed Persons) Training to others.
